ipe5toxml software package provides converts Ipe5 figures to an XML file readable by Ipe, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ipe5toxml
ipe5toxml is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ipe5toxml package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ipe5toxml *
You will get with ipe5toxml package name, version, architecture and description in a table
